A Gold AVA Award has been awarded to Muhlenberg College and its creative partner ERI, honoring excellence in digital creativity, branding, and strategy.
Top honors in website design have been awarded to Muhlenberg College by the Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals (AMCP) in their national AVA Digital Awards competition for creative work produced in 2023. Produced in partnership with Mackey Strategies and ERI, the university’s newly redesigned homepage earned the Gold Award in the Educational Institutions category.
Located in the Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania, Muhlenberg College, a private liberal arts school founded in 1848, engaged Mackey Strategies and ERI to improve its online presence and more powerfully articulate what distinguishes the College from its competitor institutions. “Muhlenberg’s excellence is driven by challenging academics and our supportive community, and ERI understood that,” said Todd Lineburger, vice president of communications and marketing. “We have what students are looking for – powerful outcomes and the skills to lead in a dynamic, global society – but what really makes us unique is the role our community plays in making that happen. It’s our superpower, and ERI helped tell our story through our community’s voices. Plus, the work just looks great,” Lineburger added.
Utilizing the strengthened messaging strategy delivered by Mackey Strategies, the homepage for muhlenberg.edu is designed to be visually-driven, action-oriented, and intuitive to navigate. The site was redesigned and redeveloped in Termnialfour CMS within a short period of time to meet the college’s tight deadline with the support of ERI’s expertise in marketing strategy, visual design, and web technology.
Melanie Moran, Vice President of Mackey Strategies, described the team’s collaboration with ERI on the website project: “We knew it was important to deliver a cohesive and comprehensive messaging platform aimed at answering: Why Muhlenberg?
