WordPress/Drupal Web Developer for Worcester, MA Office

Eri Design, a leading Worcester-based Creative Digital Agency is seeking a full-time LAMP Stack Web Developer to help build engaging digital experiences for a wide range of clients from higher-education to custom e-commerce sites. The ideal candidate needs to have a passion for development and wants to further learn how to turn award-winning designs into interactive user experiences. Quality of work, speed, reliability, and good communication skills are essential.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in web development
  • Thorough knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Knowledge of PHP programming language
  • Understanding of relational database systems such as MySQL
  • Experience with WordPress, and can develop themes from scratch
  • Proven ability to debug code (No WYSIWYG Editor)
  • In-depth understanding of cross-browser issues and W3C standards
  • In-depth knowledge of IE quirks and how to address them
  • A good ideology for managing maintainable, scalable and cross-browser code
  • Experience with Git/svn
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Self-motivated to explore new technologies and programs

  • Object-oriented PHP

  • Experience with ADA Compliance
  • Custom Content Management Systems
